Step 4: Registration in the pool of available field workers

Step 5: Pre-departure training course (PPD)

Step 6: Departure

Please note: You must live in the Czech or Slovak Republics if you want to apply through MSF Czech Republic office. If this is not the case, please check recruitment requirements of other offices of MSF.

Step 1: Infosession

The participation at an infosession in Prague, Brno or Bratislava is the first step towards your application. At our infosessions, there will be time to ask these and other relevant questions about MSF. Experienced members of staff will tell you about the organisation's goals and principles and be available for your questions. For those who are not able to attend in person, we offer online webinars. Find the dates and register here.

Step 2: Application

As part of the further selection procedure you receive an application form after the information evening, which you send back to us with your documents to hr@lekari-bez-hranic.cz

Step 3: Interview

If your skills and experience meet MSF's field needs, you will be invited for an interview with a recruiter and a test in Prague or directly to our assessment centre in Vienna

Step 4: Registration in the pool of available field workers

You will be registered in our pool of available field workers and we will work to match you with an appropriate field vacancy.

Step 5: Pre-departure training course (PPD)

Following a successful interview, you will undertake a pre-departure training course. At the preparation course you will receive a general, practice-oriented view of the medical and non-medical work of MSF. After completing this course we will inform you as soon as a suitable position has been found for you. As long as you are in agreement with the offer, your departure can follow very quickly (between 48 hours and six weeks). Attention: free places for humanitarian aid cannot be thoroughly planned. Therefore, finding a suitable position can sometimes take longer, and as such, your flexibility can often be put to the test during preparation for a mission.

Step 6: Departure

Once you have been matched, you leave for your first field mission!!
