Female and Male Medical Doctors

Medical doctors are the most urgently needed for missions in foreign countries. They have been and still are the backbone of the medical aid programs. Around one thousand times per year, doctors are recruited for aid work. The majority of them are general medical practitioners, surgeons and anesthesiologists. Presently, there is a large demand for gynecologists/obstetricians. Other specialists in the fields of pediatrics, internal medicine, as well as psychiatry are also needed for missions.
